Mrs. Weise teaches art to 6th and 7th grade students at Oak Creek East Middle School in Wisconsin. The art curriculum exposes students to drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, pottery and various other mixed media materials. Students also learn about the art practices, traditions and techniques of different world cultures.
6th graders are in the middle of a sculpture unit, using recycled materials. They are focusing on the art work of Leo Sewell. I can't wait to see how these turn out! (more photos to come)
