This is my first year teaching art at Oak Creek East Middle School and I absolutely love working with creative middle school students every day!
I grew up in Wisconsin and attended the University of Eau Claire, WI, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in pottery. I went on to earn my Masters degree in K-12 Art Education at the University of Minnesota. After college, I taught elementary & middle school art in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Ellsworth, Maine.
Along with teaching, creating art has always been one of my passions and I continue to build my own body of work in the summer, creating pottery out of my home studio and selling it at art fairs and galleries.
I recently moved back to Wisconsin with my husband & adorable 14 month old son and we are thrilled to be back!
