Mrs. Weise teaches art to 6th and 7th grade students at Oak Creek East Middle School in Wisconsin. The art curriculum exposes students to drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, pottery and various other mixed media materials. Students also learn about the art practices, traditions and techniques of different world cultures.
5th grade Alexander Calder inspired wire sculptures. Students learned how to use pliers and wire cutters along with exploring sculptural mixed media artwork..
