Mrs. Weise teaches art to 6th and 7th grade students at Oak Creek East Middle School in Wisconsin. The art curriculum exposes students to drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, pottery and various other mixed media materials. Students also learn about the art practices, traditions and techniques of different world cultures.
7th grade students studied the traditions, practices and features of Medieval architecture. Some of the features include; flying buttresses, rose windows, Gothic pointed arch windows/doors, gargoyles, and towers.
