Mrs. Weise teaches art to 6th and 7th grade students at Oak Creek East Middle School in Wisconsin. The art curriculum exposes students to drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, pottery and various other mixed media materials. Students also learn about the art practices, traditions and techniques of different world cultures.
Here are a few examples of the fabulous 6th grade sculptures and 7th grade animal masks. The students worked hard and did a lot of critical thinking and problem solving to create these forms, nice job everyone!
